In The Name of LOVE!

At the cross I bow my knee, where Your blood was shed for me. There's no greater love than this.

I’m not in the mood to write today but God lead me to. So bear with it. I have a question to ask. Have you ever thought that the person you love had loved you or had loved you back? If you’re going to ask me, yes, it crosses my mind... Sometimes...

But I have good news for you. Our Almighty Father “loved us so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16, NLT). That’s how much He loved us. He will sacrifice His own Son for our sake. But most of the time we took Him for granted that we only know Him when we are struggling or when we are facing problems.

While I was searching for a scripture that I know for a long time which I forgot the verse I saw this scripture that made me cry.

"So I will very gladly spend for you everything I have and expend myself as well. If I love you more, will you love me less?"
(2 Corinthians 12:15, NIV)

We have this mentality of loving more and loving less. Why not love the person because you love him or her? Why do we weigh our love for other people? Does it really matter if the other people love you more and you love him less or vice versa? Then you do not love, you are weighing.

I want to close with these scripture and take it to your heart.

“Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.
(John 15:13, NIV)

Let’s pray.

Dear Daddy God,

Thank you for loving me unconditionally, faithfully, endlessly and constantly. Father forgive me that most of the time I took you for granted and I forgot that it’s all about JESUS! Not him, her, or anyone else but only JESUS. Jesus, thank you for the cross, thank you for your precious blood that washed away our sins. Thank you, Holy Spirit for accompanying, guiding and leading me wherever I go. I love you too, Dad! All glory and honor belongs to you. In Jesus’ name! Amen!
