Whom Shall I Fear Lyrics

Whom Shall I Fear
By: Lincoln Brewster

Because I know you live
I'll put my faith in this
You hear my call
Lord you hear me calling

Because I know you live
I'll set my heart on this
You won't let me fall
when all else is falling

When all you are, is glorious oh God
victorious and strong
Whom shall I fear

When all you are, is powerful and true
And good in all you do
Whom shall I fear
Whom shall I fear

Because you're on my side
I won't believe the lie
That I'm alone
I'm not all alone here

Because you live in me (because you live in me)
My heart will still believe
That you can to save
And you'll come to save me

Lord you're with me in the fire (whoa)
You never leave me in the flame
(never leave me in the flame)
I know your thoughts are so much higher
Lord your ways are not my ways

When all you are, is glorious oh God
victorious and strong
Whom shall I fear

When all you are, is powerful and true
And good in all you do
Whom shall I fear
Whom shall I fear

(guitar solo)

Lord you're with me in the fire (whoa)
You never leave me in the flame
(never leave me in the flame)
I know your thoughts are so much higher
Lord your ways are not my ways

When all you are, is glorious oh God
victorious and strong
Whom shall I fear

When all you are, is powerful and true
And good in all you do
Whom shall I fear

You are for me
You came to save me
You will never let me go
In my heart I'll always know

You are for me
You came to save me
You will never let me go
In my heart I'll always know

I know that you are for me
I know that you are for me
I know that you will never forsake me in my weakness
I know that you have come down
even if to write upon my heart
To remind me who you

Your Presence Is Heaven To Me Lyrics

Your Presence Is Heaven To Me

Who is like You Lord in all the earth?
Matchless love and beauty, endless worth
Nothing in this world can satisfy
'Cause Jesus You're the cup that won't run dry

Your presence is heaven to me
Your presence is heaven to me

Treasure of my heart and of my soul
In my weakness you are merciful
Redeemer of my past and present wrongs
Holder of my future days to come

Your presence is heaven to me
Your presence is heaven to me

All my days on earth I will await
The moment that I see You face to face
Nothing in this world can satisfy
'Cause Jesus You're the cup that won't run dry

Your presence is heaven to me
Your presence is heaven to me

Oh Jesus, Oh Jesus
Your presence is heaven to me
Oh Jesus, Oh Jesus
Your presence is heaven to me

Exceptional Be-Attitude

We’ve been studying the “Exceptional Be-Attitude” for 3 weeks now. Actually, I’m already late for writing this post. Sorry guys..

The main character for this series of message is Daniel. Let us define the character of Daniel first before going to the main topic. Daniel is a man of exceptional qualities/character; he is a man of integrity and power.

Here are the characters (exceptional be-attitude) that we need very badly these coming days.

First, Be Confident. How can we be confident? To boost your confidence, know your identity. You are a child of the Most High God, You are loved and so on. Like Daniel, he is confident because he knows his identity. Let us read and understand the scripture below.

Daniel 1:1-4, NLT, “1 During the third year of King Jehoiakim’s reign in Judah,King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon came to Jerusalem and besieged it. 2 The Lord gave him victory over King Jehoiakim of Judah and permitted him to take some of the sacred objects from the Temple of God. So Nebuchadnezzar took them back to the land of Babylonia and placed them in the treasure-house of his god. 3 Then the king ordered Ashpenaz, his chief of staff, to bring to the palace some of the young men of Judah’s royal family and other noble families, who had been brought to Babylon as captives. 4 “Select only strong, healthy, and good-looking young men,” he said. “Make sure they are well versed in every branch of learning, are gifted with knowledge and good judgment, and are suited to serve in the royal palace. Train these young men in the language and literature of Babylon.”

Daniel knew that he came from a royal and noble family and he is selected because he is strong, healthy and good looking young man.

Do you know that people who are exceptional are secure about themselves? Because they know who they are!

Second, Be Creative. To be creative means you are a solution provider not a problem maker. We all need this in our everyday lives.

Daniel 5:13-16, NLT, “13 So Daniel was brought in before the king. The king asked him, “Are you Daniel, one of the exiles brought from Judah by my predecessor, King Nebuchadnezzar? 14 I have heard that you have the spirit of the gods within you and that you are filled with insight, understanding, and wisdom. 15 My wise men and enchanters have tried to read the words on the wall and tell me their meaning, but they cannot do it. 16 I am told that you can give interpretations and solve difficult problems. If you can read these words and tell me their meaning, you will be clothed in purple robes of royal honor, and you will have a gold chain placed around your neck. You will become the third highest ruler in the kingdom.”

Third, Be Teachable. Successful people are teachable and recognize the need to grow and to change. They always want to learn something new. They do not stop learning and training their selves.

Daniel also went to a training period. Read the scriptures below.

Daniel 1: 4-5, NLT, “Select only strong, healthy, and good-looking young men,” he said. “Make sure they are well versed in every branch of learning, are gifted with knowledge and good judgment, and are suited to serve in the royal palace. Train these young men in the language and literature of Babylon.” 5 The king assigned them a daily ration of food and wine from his own kitchens. They were to be trained for three years, and then they would enter the royal service.

Daniel 1:18-20, NLT, “18 When the three-year training period ordered by the king was completed, the chief of staff brought all the young men to King Nebuchadnezzar. 19 The king talked with them, and no one impressed him as much as Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah. So they entered the royal service. 20 Whenever the king consulted them in any matter requiring wisdom and balanced judgment, he found them ten times more capable than any of the magicians and enchanters in his entire kingdom.”

Fourth, Be Consistent. This is the most challenging character of Daniel.

Daniel 6:6-10, NLT, “6 So the administrators and high officers went to the king and said, “Long live King Darius! 7 We are all in agreement—we administrators, officials, high officers, advisers, and governors—that the king should make a law that will be strictly enforced. Give orders that for the next thirty days any person who prays to anyone, divine or human—except to you, Your Majesty—will be thrown into the den of lions. 8 And now, Your Majesty, issue and sign this law so it cannot be changed, an official law of the Medes and Persians that cannot be revoked.” 9 So King Darius signed the law. 10 But when Daniel learned that the law had been signed, he went home and knelt down as usual in his upstairs room, with its windows open toward Jerusalem. He prayed three times a day, just as he had always done, giving thanks to his God.

I can say that Daniel is a fearless man. He knew what will happen to him if the administrators saw him praying to our Almighty God but as the scripture says, Daniel knelt down as usual and prayed three times a day. Daniel’s secret of strength and character was his consistency. No matter how busy he is, he still has time to pray to our Almighty God three times a day. I like what Pastor Anthony says, “Make God your priority and He will make you His priority.”

Lastly, Be Courageous. A consistent life makes you strong and courageous. Courage is doing what is right, no matter what the consequences. Just like Daniel, he knows that praying is a right thing to do, so he prayed no matter what the consequence is.

Successful people don’t back off from pressure, they face it because every problem has an expiration date. We know that in struggles we are growing.

Maybe you are asking, “How do we possess an exceptional be-attitude?” The answer is, “It’s about being not doing, before you ‘do’, you have to be ‘be’ first.”

Believing impacts your behavior. Your behavior impacts your action. Your action impacts your destiny. – ADM

Let’s pray.

Dear Daddy God,

We thank you for the spirit of confidence, creativity, teachable attitude, consistency and courage. Help us Father to nurture these attitudes for us to be the person you want us to be. We appreciate you, we acknowledge you and we allow you to move in every detail of our lives, Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen!

You are Who God Says You Are

You are Who God Says You Are

Today's Truth:
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!" (2 Corinthians 5:17 NIV)

Friend to Friend
There's a game I've watched women play at retreats as an icebreaker activity. Each person has the name of a famous or infamous person taped to her back. Then the women walk around giving each other clues about "who they are."

"You always put off worrying until tomorrow." "You had so many children you didn't know what to do." "You were the queen of soul."
The point of the game is to figure out your identity. Once you guess correctly, you sit down.
One night, as I watched the ladies play the game, I was struck with its similarity to real life. Many times we determine our identity, by what others tell us about ourselves. You are so smart. You are a loser. You are so pretty. You can do anything you set your mind to. You are so ugly. You are so fat. After a while, those messages determine how we see ourselves, whether true or false. It is only a mature person who realizes that just because a person says that you are this or that, doesn't make it true.
One of the greatest blessings of becoming a Christian is receiving a new identity. In the Bible, when God touched and changed a person's life, many times He changed his or her name. He said, "You will be called by a new name that the mouth of the Lord will bestow" (Isaiah 62:2). Saul became Paul. Abram became Abraham.  Sarai became Sarah. Jacob became Israel. Simon became Peter.
Likewise, when you accepted Christ, God gave you a new identity and a new name. If you want to know who you really are, then you need to look in the Bible and see who God says you are. It may be different from what you've heard others say about you, but which do you think is more accurate? Who do you think has a better perception of who you are, your Creator, or other creatures just like yourself? If you are a Christian today, the following verses describe your new identity.
My Identity in Christ
Matthew 5:13 - I am the salt of the earth.
Matthew 5:14 - I am the light of the world.
John 1:12 - I am a child of God.
John 15:15 - I am part of the true vine, a channel (branch) of Christ's life.
John 15:15 - I am Christ's friend.
John 15:16 - I am chosen and appointed by Christ to bear His fruit.
Romans 8:14,15 - I am a joint-heir with Christ, sharing His inheritance with Him.
I Corinthians 3:16 - I am a temple of God.  His Spirit dwells in me.
I Corinthians 12:27 - I am a member (part) of Christ's body
2 Corinthians 5:17 - I am a new creation.
2 Corinthians 5:18,19 I am reconciled to God and am a minister of reconciliation...
Ephesians 1:1 - I am a saint.
Ephesians 1:3 - I am blessed with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places.
Ephesians 1:11 - I am sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit who has been given as a pledge of my inheritance.
Ephesians 2:10 - I am God's workmanship created in Christ to do His work that He planned beforehand that I should do.
Ephesians 4:24 - I am righteous and holy.

That is a lot to put on a nametag, but that is your new identity. Neil Anderson, in his book Victory over the Darkness notes, "The reason so many Christians are not enjoying the maturity and freedom which is their inheritance in Christ is because they hold wrong self-perceptions. They don't see themselves as they really are in Christ.  They don't understand the dramatic change which occurred in them the moment they trusted in Him. They don't see themselves the way God sees them, and to that degree they suffer from a poor self-image. They don't grasp their true identity."
In that paragraph, Dr. Anderson described me perfectly. I had no idea who I was, what I had, or where I was in Christ. As God opened my eyes to the truth, I realized that how I saw myself and how God saw me were very different. I decided to start believing God.
How about you? Are you ready to start seeing yourself as God sees you today? After all, it is the truth!
Let's Pray
Dear God, I thank You that I am a new creation in Christ. I admit that sometimes I feel just like the old me and act like the old me, but I believe by faith that I am brand new.  Thank You that my identity is based on my position in Christ rather than my performance on earth.
In Jesus' Name,
Amen.

Promise #70

Credits to 365promises.com

Ephesians 1:3 WEB
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ;

Promise #70: I have blessed you in Christ with every heavenly blessing.

I had the personal privilege of receiving my earthly father's blessing before he died. It was a real honor for me to receive such a blessing from my own dad and I am keenly aware that many people have not shared the same experience with their own earthly fathers. Some may have even felt cheated out of their father's blessing similar to how Esau felt when his brother Jacob cheated him out of the blessing. (You can read the story in Genesis 27).

But the truth is that our God and Father made a way through the cross of Jesus Christ (Galatians 3:13-14) for each and every one of us to experience every heavenly blessing there is! Today's promise from Ephesians 1:3 says that you and I have been blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places. Every blessing that there is in heaven is yours because of what Jesus did!

We do not have to feel cheated out of any earthly blessing because we have a heavenly Dad who has more than made up for our lack of blessings on earth by showering us with His own blessings straight from heaven. You and I are not orphans, trying to struggle through this life, but we are part of the greatest family ever because God is our Father and Jesus is our elder brother. Because of our rich inheritance, we have been blessed in Christ with every heavenly blessing there is! Hallelujah!

Dear Daddy God

March 12, 2012

Dear Daddy God,

I am writing a letter to you not because I am inspired to what I watched an hour ago (Dear John). I am writing because I want to express my love and gratefulness to you through writing and I want to say so much to you.

I am so grateful that I have a loving and gracious Father. I know that you know everything about me--you know my deepest thoughts and heart! Sometimes, I’m wondering how you can keep my secrets without telling anyone. Hahaha! Kidding aside, I am overwhelmed to your love and grace. I’ve been in my darkest and deepest pit but you help me to rise without hesitation. Your saving grace always saves me in my troubles.

Father, I thank you for the lives of my siblings. I know that you are not done yet in their lives that you are just beginning. Your plans for them are unlimited. Though they chose wrong choices, I know you are going to turn the situation around for their own good. Help me and use me Dad to draw them near to you and to let them know that you love them so much.

Dad, I also thank you for Ayelle and Matt. I believe you will use my pamangkins for your greater glory. I thank you for the seeds that you planted in their hearts. Dad, right now, I am commanding your angels in Jesus’ name to safe keep and protect my pamangkins in any harm that the devil prepares for them. I know Father God that no weapon formed against us is going to prosper.

Dad, thank you for using my aunties and uncles as our second parents. Thank you for their love and patience to us. I know that we are stubborn most of the times but they are always here to guide and support us. I pray that you will bless them more and more and more!

Dad, thank you for my friends. Uhmmm… you know who they are and you know my prayers for them. I don’t want to reveal my gifts for them. Hehehe!

Dad, thank you for the DGROUP. You know my prayers for each one of them. Dad, I’m asking you to bless our group with more quality, consistent and Christ-like kapatids (spiritual siblings). Also, bless our hearts, our hands and the works of our hands.

Dad, I also thank you for the disciples you’ve given me. I pray that you will continue to send more quality, consistent and Christ-like disciples in the group. I pray that you will continue to stir their hearts and continue to transform and empower them.

Dad, I thank you for my work. I do not understand what is happening now but there is only one thing I know and understand. That is you are working in the background. That you are preparing something big for me and you will open great doors of opportunities for me.

Father, I’m asking you to sustain me with your grace and help me fixed/focus my eyes only to you. Holy Spirit, I need you to teach and guide me. For without you, I cannot do anything. When I am weak, strengthen and empower me. Jesus, cover me with your most precious blood. Anoint me Father from the top of my head up to the sole of my feet.

I love you.

In the most precious and loving name of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen!

Worry no more...

*Note: This is my first Tagalog entry. Sorry to the other readers from other countries. I'll do my best to translate it. Thank you and God bless you!

8 months from now, I’ll be turning 28. Sabi mo sa akin nung 26 ako, “26 ka pa lang!” Now, I’m 27 na… anong nangyayari, Dad?”

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.” (1 Corinthians 6:19-20, NIV). Awts!

Sabi sa salita Niya, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9, NIV) O dba?! Napaka-gracious niya.

Dahil sabi rin niya, “I will never again remember their sins and lawless deeds." (Hebrews 10:17, NLT) at “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:19, NLT). Hayan ah, maliwanag na sinabi diyan na maliligtas tayo kung maniniwala tayo at tinanggap natin si Jesus bilang ating personal God and Saviour.

Balikan natin mga tanong ko sa taas, alam ko kung bakit nadedelay ang pagdating ni BPIL. God is only preparing him and me for each other. Lalo na sa attitude or character naming dalawa. Kasi sabi niya sa akin, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him.” (Genesis 2:18, NLT). Kaya gusto ko na siyang maalis kasi it’s not helping me to grow. You know.

Amen!

Success!

Yesterday, our network leader (Ate Erika) told me that I was assigned to be the Love Offering Exhorter for the 3rd Celebration but I told her that I haven’t received any messages for the LO Schedules. Its 3:45PM when they told me and the celebration will start in 15 minutes. I told my leader that I cannot make it because I just woke up and not yet took a bath (again).

While I’m having my shower, I ask God on what message He wants me to exhort for the LO. He answered me about SUCCESS.

Behind every man’s success is a woman but every Christian’s success is JESUS. Our faith that God is able to do far and greater things in our lives will help us to be successful in every area of our life because we do not settle for less and we always expects something big from Him. That is why we always ask God to enlarge our capacity or our territory to receive not just financially but also in every areas of our life. I am sure that each one of us wants to be successful in every areas of our life.

After the shower, I texted my leader again that I cannot really really make it. Transportation in our place is a difficult thing. I have to wait for a tricycle to come. The tricycles in our place don’t have schedules or time to come. Praise God because Ma’am Norrie agrees to replace me.

When my leader (Jeng) and I meet up to go to Remsy’s place for her birthday celebration, I told her, “I haven’t received any text messages for the LO schedules and it’s been 5 months since I exhorted for the Love Offering.”

+ + + + +

Yesterday is Remsy’s birthday. Jeng instruct me to take Remsy to the 2nd tent after the Celebration. But before that, Ate Erika (our accomplice) gave us task to get the numbers of the catalyst in the connect team. After we’re done in getting the numbers of the catalysts in the connect, Jeng told me that she’s not done yet. So I need to buy more time for the preparation. I asked Remsy to go with me in the bathroom. I told her that I will be meeting a friend after the Celebration so that it will be look realistic. Then I texted Jeng if she’s ready and she answered, game!

I took Remsy by the hand and told her, “Help me to the 2nd tent. I have something to ask to Venus regarding Intercessory Ministry.” When we open the door, the teachers inside the tent began singing “Happy birthday to you”. She is astonished and shy. Her reason is, “Hindi ko kilala mga kumakanta”. Then Remsy invite us to go to their house for dinner.

*Note: Photos.. to follow.

Let’s pray.

Dear Daddy God,

We praise you, we glorify you and we honor you! We thank you for the success in every area of our lives and we thank you for the life of our sister, Remsy. We thank you for your blessing and provision in her life and her family. Continue to transform and empower her. In Jesus’ most holy name. Amen!

Our God Reigns Here Lyrics

Our God Reigns Here
By John Waller

Spirit of death
You have no place here
I command that you leave
In Jesus' name

Spirit of fear
You have no place here
I command that you leave
In Jesus' name
You're not welcome here
So go, just go

Spirit of doubt
You have no place here
I command that you leave
In Jesus' name

Envy and jealousy
You have no place here
I command you to leave in Jesus' name
Go back from whence you came cause

Our God reigns here
Our God reigns here
We claim this ground
In Jesus' name
Cause our God reigns
Our God reigns here
Our God reigns here
The battle's won
Have no fear
'Cause God reigns here
He reigns here, our God

Anger and rage
Guilt and shame
I command you to leave
In Jesus' name

Depression, anxiety
Addiction, infirmity
I command you to leave
In Jesus' name
Go back from whence you came cause

Our God reigns here
Our God reigns here
We claim this ground
In Jesus' name
Cause our God reigns
Our God reigns here
Our God reigns here
The battle's won
Have no fear
'Cause God reigns here
He reigns here, our God

God reigns here, there's no doubt,
He has overcome the world
Our God reigns here
Our God reigns here
We claim this ground
In Jesus' name
Cause our God reigns
Our God reigns here
Our God reigns here
The battle's won
Have no fear
'Cause God reigns here
He reigns here, our God
God reigns here, there's no doubt,
He has overcome the world
God reigns here, there's no doubt,
He has overcome the world
Our God reigns

Only Ask...

Amen! The earth belongs to our Heavenly Father and all that is in it. When He says “ALL” He means everything that you see--the sky, the sun, the moon, the stars, the ocean, the rivers, the fields, the trees, the animals, the insects, us and etc!

Here is my question. Who is God? Our Heavenly Father! Who are we to Him? (You must know your identity in Him) His children! Since God is our Father and everything in it was His, He will definitely give us what we ask.

He says in Psalm 2:8, NLT, “Only ask, and I will give you the nations as your inheritance, the whole earth as your possession." Now, aren’t you excited to ask Him? Be excited to receive what you ask for!

Let’s pray.

Dear Daddy God,

We are so blessed to have a generous, gracious and loving Father! What else can we ask from you? You already gave us your everything. We thank you for our Big Brother, Jesus and for our comforter, helper and mentor, the Holy Spirit. We love you. In the most holy name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. AMEN!

For God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable. – Romans 11:29, NIV
