His Life

I watched 4 movies and 1 video clip from last night till today. The first movie I watched is “The Proposal”. It’s a romantic comedy starring Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds. Yes, it’s a love story. Who does not want to love and be loved? All of us want.

The Proposal: Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds

The last 3 movies were Gulliver’s Travel, Night at the Museum 2 and The Tourist. These movies are about adventures and in The Tourist; the scenes were taken from Venice, Italy. If you have had read my previous posts, I mention that I love to travel, right? While watching the movie, I told my sister (Glecy) that we are all going to travel in that place next year! Amen!

Gulliver's Travels: Jack Black

Night at The Museum 2: Ben Stiller

The Tourist: Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp

But this video clip that I watched during the Youth Gig touched my heart and moves me. It’s about our Lord Jesus Christ love for us. Watch this video clip to see what I mean and I believe you will also be move to what Jesus did for us.

This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.
(1 John 3:16, NIV)

1-3Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we'd better get on with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we're in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he's there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls!
(Hebrews 12:1-3, MSG)

Sabi nga ni Pastor Ru, Jesus is a God. He can command the thunder to kill the soldiers who persecuted Him but He did not do that because He is thinking about us. He is thinking to save us. That’s how much He loves us. He sacrificed His Life for us.

Let’s pray.

Dear Daddy God,

Thank you, Father for our Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you for sacrificing your one and only son to save us from all our sins. Jesus, thank you for the cross, for your precious blood. Thank you for thinking and loving me despite all the bad things I’ve done. Through me, you experienced the most shameful kind of death which is the crucifixion. Forgive me, Father. I love you, Dad. You deserve all the praises, glory and honor. In Jesus’ mighty Name. Amen!
