No Complaining

Last Sunday, Pastor William exhorted Pambihirang Pasasalamat (Exceptional Thanksgiving). The main text came from the book of 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, NIV, “16 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. If you will notice in the scriptures, we should always be joyful, pray without ceasing and give thanks to our Abba Father no matter what happen, even if it is good or bad because blessings comes to those who knows how to thank Him.

During the celebration, Pastor William gave us 3 Powerful Truths about COMPLAINING. First, Complaining DELAYS your Exceptional Harvest. Waaa! This is bad! Best examples here are the Israelites. The 11 days journey from Egypt to the Promise Land takes only 11 days but the Israelites keep on complaining to God that is why their journey extended for 40 years. Imagine that, 11 days of journey become 40 years. I bet you don’t want your Exceptional Harvest to be delayed that long.

Second, Complaining DENIES you of your Promise. What does it mean? If you keep on complaining, there is a possibility that you won’t get what God has promise to you. Best examples here are the Israelites again. How? When they complain, they made God angry to them. That is why the first generation of the Israelites did not enter the promise land and even Moses died in the desert.

Lastly, Complaining DRAWS CURSES instead of Blessing. When we complain, the demon approaches us but when we are grateful, God commands his angels to bless us.

Now, do you still want to complain? I bet not. The best thing here is that when we know how to be grateful, we are unlocking the windows of heaven. Aside to that, GRATEFULNESS makes us a MAGNET of BLESSING, makes us COMPLETE and makes us READY for our EXCEPTIONAL HARVEST.

Let’s pray.

Dear Daddy God,

Father, we are grateful that you gave us a grateful heart that no matter what happen we will exalt you, we will bless you, we will honor you, we will glorify you and we will appreciate you. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
