Live To Give

Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.
(Luke 6:38, NLT)

Last week, our country experienced Typhoon Pedring and Quiel. Due to these typhoons some areas in our province are flooded and people living in those areas have to leave their houses and move to other safe places like evacuation center. Our church, His Life City Church that Loves God, Make Disciples and Impact our World organized an operation to help our Cabalen through giving of relief goods. And I’m happy that I also participated in this operation by helping our church mates in packing the goods.

Thank God for the complete healing and fast recovery of our life group leader, Jeng, because 2 weeks ago she was admitted to hospital due to dengue and we miss her so much! Because of her complete healing and fast recovery and our 40 days fasting was ended last October 2, we had a feast last night. Each of us brought food.

Aside from our regular life group, we also had our quiz on the book of Esther. The member who gets the highest score has a reward and the reward is *drum roll* TOBLERONE! Krisette got the highest score, 15/17, and she also shared to us her reward.

Let’s pray.

Dear Daddy God,

Almighty Father, we thank you for keeping and protecting us against these typhoons and we also thank you for using us to help other people who are in need. Dad, continue to bless our hearts, our hands, the works of our hands and continue to provide our needs so that we may also give others as well. We bring you back all the praises, glory, honor, power and blessing. In Jesus’ mighty name. AMEN!
