Fun-Filled Night

We are having our Catalyst Prayer Time every Thursday night. This ministry intercedes for the Catalyst network and for the church as well. The person who will exhort or who will share a word will lead the intercession.

Last night, it was Leo who shared a word and facilitates the intercession. We know God made something tremendous last night. We don’t feel it but we knew it.

We love because he first loved us.
(1 John 4:19, NIV)

Leo shared to us what he heard in a radio station. Sometimes we think of the things or ways what will make God love us—like we want to impress Him to our ministries and other stuffs—but we fail to remember that no matter what we are doing for Him, He loved us first and that love is constant, it’s 100%! We only have to accept the fact that He first loved us and everything what we do for Him is just secondary. God’s love for us is effortless. He simply loved us because He is love.

My prayer today is that this truth will sink in to our hearts and our thoughts. We are loved by the King.

After the prayer time, Vance, Marie, Mel, Beth and I had a fun night in the canteen. Since Beth brought her laptop, we took advantage of it. LOL!

Here are the results of our fun-filled night!

Promise #138

Credits belong to 365Promises.com. Enjoy!

Hebrews 6:10 WEB
For God is not unrighteous, so as to forget your work and the labor of love
which you showed toward his name, in that you served the saints, and still do serve them.

Promise #138:
I will not forget the love you have shown Me by serving others.
Today's promise simply says that God will not forget all the love you have shown to Him by serving others. The New International Version Bible translation of Hebrews 6:10 says... God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them. (NIV)

We are called to not grow weary in doing good, but to keep on running the unique race marked out for each one of us. Sometimes that it is easier said than done though. I am sure at one time or another we have all been tired and even discouraged in the race that we have been called to run. Today's encouragement is simply don't give up! God sees your heart and is touched by the way you have shown your love to Him by loving and serving others.

My prayer today is that each one of us will feel our Papa's smile from heaven over our lives and that His affirmation would energize and encourage us to keep fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfector of our faith so that we will not grow weary. (Hebrews 12:1-2) God loves you and does not forget the things that you have done to show your love to Him! Even if others forget what you've done, your heavenly Father will never forget!

SC Express

Last May 6, after the 2nd Sunday Celebration, our Heavenly Dad gave me another unprecedented travel and adventure with my friends in Subic and Clark. It’s my first time to travel to these places in just one day (round trip travel).

The original plan is to explore Clark and have a picnic while watching a movie in my laptop. But God has a different plan for us.

Here happened to us. Enjoy!

At SCTEX....
We travelled to Subic in less than an hour. Praise God for the SCTEX!

The Lost Ballers

Photoshoot... :D

At work... LCL Trade Fair 2011

Sleep over at Beth's place.

I treat myself in a spa today and at the same time, I lost my passion ballers. I’ve been wearing those ballers since December 2010 and I don’t remove them unless it’s necessary.

Before, I’m wearing those passion ballers so that the people I meet can identify me as an attendee/member of HLCC. Yes, that’s how I view it. I’ve been on that thought for more than a year.

But today, God revealed to me that even though I’m not wearing anything than can identify me as a Christian or an attendee/member/leader of HLCC, people will be able to identify me as one because He is in me—that His glory reflects through my words, actions and lifestyle.

If ever I see those passion ballers again, I am going to keep them as a remembrance.

Let’s pray.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I thank you for surprising me with fresh revelation everyday. I love you, Dad. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen!

Dream Revelation and Interpretation #3

This morning, I dreamed that I am at in a scene, a very scary scene. There are goons who has modern firearms and who look like demons. They are shooting and killing people around them.

While the goons are shooting and killing, I hid at the back of a car but I still see what is happening around me. I am scared to death but I am praying. I asked God to chase them away because many people are already killed and wounded.

When the goons are done, Ruth (a sister in Christ) threw a metal object to their car that made one of the goons mad and he shot her. She is just 2 feet away from me when they shot her that is why I catch her when she fell.

I’m trembling while seeing her grasping for her breathe and I can smell her blood. I prayed and prayed and prayed. I bind the spirit of death and I release the gift of life repeatedly. I asked God to heal her instantly but no change occurred. I asked Ruth to believe in Christ that He can heal her and He can give her life. She answered that she believes Him. After I prayed for her, a miracle happened. God healed and restored her. The bullet got removed and she was healed.

Praise God! I know that seeing myself praying in a dream means I’m back on track. If you still remember my post regarding my dream in a previous post, you will understand what I’m trying to say.

In regard to my dream, God cannot do great wonders and miracles in our lives if we do not believe in Him. Remember, God works according to our faith. He meets us to our expectations.

Let’s pray.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I thank you for the fresh oil that you have given to me. I pray that you will sustain me with your grace because I know that apart from you I cannot do anything. Father, I’m lifting up Ruth to you. I pray that wherever she goes, your mercy, your goodness, your favor, your provision, your blessing, your grace and you love will chase her and overtake her. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen!

Four Acts of Faith

Two Sundays ago, our network leader, Ptr. Erika, exhorted to us the “Four Acts of Faith”. She said that Faith without actions is not faith at all.

The message came from the book of Hebrew 12:1-2, “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.

Here are the Four Acts of Faith that she shared to us.

First, Strip off and Let Go. We should strip off and let go the things that slows us down to grow and to be matured in our Christian walk like our sins, bad habits, old mindset, past, hurt, bitterness, anger, pride, past mistakes, past victories, etc. Remember, God already redeemed us and we are now a new creation.

Application: What are the things you need to let go that hinder spiritual growth?

Second, Hold On. Our faith is not based on people but on Jesus alone. We do not hold on to our circumstances, we hold on to His words.

Application: What are some of the most precious promises of God that you hold on to during tough times?

Third, Move Forward. All of us have journey rather walk of faith. In those journey or walk of faith, expect that something will happen along the way but we should all move forward. Like what Isaiah said, “Forget the former things; do not dwell in the past. See I am doing a new thing!” How can God make a new thing if we do not want to move forward in our Christian walks? When we step or move forward, God will give us new things and what are they? It could be a promotion in your work, a lifetime partner, family restoration and salvation, business expansion if you are a businessman, healing, fresh fire or a new encounter with God, etc.

Application: How will you move forward in faith this year?

Lastly, Never Quit. Never quit on God, on His promises, on His words and on the things He will do for you. God never quit on us, so let us not quit on Him instead let us fix our eyes to Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. We know that there is a great reward in not quitting.

Application: What should be your attitude in order to finish well in faith?

Specifically, in what areas (e.g physical, spiritual, family, career, finances, school etc.) of your life do you need to apply these acts of faith?

Let’s pray.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Help us o Dad to fix and focus our eyes to Jesus even the circumstances are favorable or not. We know that there is a great reward on those who continue to do your will. Increase our faith, Lord. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen!

Psalm 5:3 WEB
Yahweh, in the morning you shall hear my voice.
In the morning I will lay my requests before you, and will watch expectantly.

Promise #134:  I hear your voice when you call to Me in the morning.

God is with us when we are awake and He is with us when we sleep. King David declared in Psalm 139 that there was no place that he could go to escape the presence of the Lord. In today's promise, King David writes that the Lord is listening to our prayers when we call out to Him in the morning.

Think about this for a minute. God watches over us when we are sleeping and He is right there ready to hear our prayers the moment that we wake up! It absolutely amazes me when I think of how attentive our heavenly Father is to our needs. Jesus told us in Matthew 6:8 that our heavenly Father knows what we need before we even ask.

So when you first open your eyes tomorrow morning, think of this promise. God is waiting to hear from you. His heart is longing for us to commune with Him morning, noon and night. He is always watching over us and He is listening for our voice when we rise in the morning.

The God of Many Chances #Grace

Credits belong to Mr. Ron Macale. God bless you greatly, bro!

A churchmate of my mine recently sent the video of our praise and worship during the concert held last year in our church.
That song was “Your Grace is Enough”.
Yes this song testified how gracious our God is.

This song has been part of my life because it’s my “alarm and ringtone” back then (just like Ptr. Ru)

I did a profound introspection.

These past two weeks, I’ve been bombed and repeatedly being pointed.

Hooked. Shot. And caught by GRACE.

No matter what I am doing whether I sleep, I write or speak God is putting this word on my mind “GRACE”.

I opened my twitter account. There it is @princedarby tweeted about Grace.

I checked my phone. I saw my friend’s sms from “Grace”. Ain’t joking.

Redundant “grace” has kept my mind busy.
If God is really up to something with me, I bet He really was.

And will always be.

I can’t really elaborate the parable of the forgiving father here (the prodigal son) but I can summarize it with this word - GRACE.

This was our “Yeshua Gathering message” was all about last time.

I am describing grace with its Acrostics itself.

G-iven-
R-edeeming
A-bounding
C-hance
E-nduring

Given. Yes it is freely given to us no matter what. It’s God’s freebies. God’s unconditional gift unto us. Grab it. But please don’t abuse it.

Redeem. God’s grace redeemed us. He died instead of us. He’s redeemed us from our sin. That’s selfless redemption is grace in itself. We should appreciate it. Take care of it.

Abounding. The grace of God is not just enough but is more than enough because it is abounding. It’s lavishing. Running. Overflowing.

Chance. Yup. God is not a God of 2nd chances but merely a God of many chances. It may sound cliché’ but we can’t stand up and start anew without the grace of God. Our chances for a renewal and restoration is because of His grace.

Enduring. The Lord once said “his grace is sufficient for us”. No matter what, wherever we may be.

God’s grace will always be with us if we only believe and surrender everything to Him.
We endure every hard and rough steps in our lives because of His grace. From the time of creation and up until now, His mercies are always new every morning. Grace.

We are undeserving. But because it’s simply GIVEN unto us ,we are being REDEEMED when Jesus came ABOUNDING in love.

Giving us the grace of CHANCE to be with him ENDURING til Eternity.

Amen.

A.S.K

Last Sunday, we have Pastor Chinkee Tan as our guest speaker.  He exhorted “How to Ask God Successfully”.

Pastor Chinkee gave us three (3) ways on how to ask our Heavenly Father Successfully.

First, we should ask God “Audaciously”. He said, the way we view our Earthly Father affects the way we Ask and Pray to our Heavenly Father. In asking God, we do not have to beg but we should be bold and we should demand. If God is the creator of heaven and earth, then the sky is the limit when asking Him.

Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it!
(John 14:14, NLT)

Second, “Specifically”. Like in the story of Bartimaeus in Mark 10:46-52, Jesus asked the blind man specifically and the blind man answered Jesus specifically too. Although Jesus knew what the blind man wants, He still asked him what He wants to do for Him.

Third, “Keenly”. We know the world tells us, “To see is to believe”. But as Christian, we have different view on that and that is “To believe is to see”.

And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.
(Hebrews 11:6)

After the Sunday Celebration, I remember that I wrote my Nothing is Impossible Lists for the Year 2012. They are impossible to me but they are possible with my Father. (Matthew19:26, NLT)

Here are some of my Impossible Lists.

I want a contemporary zen type house(2 Floors/3 for the attic)—6 Bed Rooms, 7 Comfort Rooms, Living Room, Balcony, Entertainment Room, Library, Prayer Room, Wonderful Kitchen (I love to cook!), Lanai, Beautiful Garden and Backyard, Swimming Pool, and Atticin an exclusive subdivision. The lot and the house area would be 1,000 sq.m and 400 sq.m. My architect will be my friend, Architect Raquel Baquiran.

(Matthew 7:7-8, NLT)

For God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable. – Romans 11:29, NIV
