Title: I touCh the Sky when my knees hit the Ground
Fiel Martinez

Surrendering and humility are two words often looked down upon in this world. These two words more often than not equates to weakness and lack of authority.

1 Peter 5:5-7, NLT, "In the same way, you who are younger must accept the authority of the elders. And all of you, dress yourselves in humility as you relate to one another, for “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor. Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.

Humility attracts heaven
In this world we need to be on top to be recognized at school, in the office, and also in a group. But with God it works in a very different way. For us to be able to touch God’s heart we need to humble ourselves. Humility makes God smile. Humility is the spirit of heaven. When we humble ourselves before God, he pours out his blessing on us. And what is more worthwhile in life than having God’s favour in your life. Humility attracts heaven and it touches the heart of God.

Surrender is power
Never surrender. It’s one of the favourite sayings of this world. But in the language of heaven, surrendering to God is a manifestation power. When you surrender and let God move in your seemingly difficult situation that is when he is most powerful. Surrender is freedom from the illusion that you can do it all. It is freedom from fear, doubts, worries and addiction. Surrender and just allow God to turn thing around for your good.

For God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable. – Romans 11:29, NIV
