Title: Joshua 1:8
By: Pastor Anthony D. Martinez

For something to operate correctly may it be an electrical appliance or a car you bought recently, you need to follow a set of instructions and maybe go back to it for reference from time to time. In this way you will know how to deal with the issues that will arise later in the product. But did you know that we also have an instruction manual for life? These vital instructions are in the Bible and are meant to be obeyed for you to succeed and prosper in everything that you do.

After the death of Moses, the Lord spoke to Joshua and commanding him to lead the Israelites out of the wilderness and into the Promised Land. Moses’ task before was to lead God’s people out of Egypt. But this is now the time for the people to go to the land that the Lord has promised them. Joshua being Moses’ assistant and apprentice for forty years has seen how the Israelites gave Moses a hard time. The Lord knows how the Israelites deviate from the law from time to time. That’s why He instructed Joshua how to do the task efficiently and God knows that Joshua is an effective leader who carefully obeys every detail of instructions given to him. Joshua followed every word that God said to him. And because of following the Book of Instruction or the Bible, Joshua was able to defeat and conquer vast lands that the Lord is leading them in to.

Studying the Bible is a very vital party of our spiritual growth and everyday life. This book contains all the instruction you will ever need in this lifetime. Whatever season you may be in your life the Bible has some practical solutions on how to deal victoriously and correctly with your everyday concerns. In this way you will be assured that everything that you do will lead you to what God has prepared for you. And as for God, everything He has for you is perfect and the best.

Joshua 1:8 NLT

Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.
